I had the great honor of working with the Eames Office while I was at Chronicle Books to design a line of products that would showcase their wonderful collection of furniture, textiles and photography. Here are a few examples from that line. 

 

ADDRESS BOOK

I designed the cover and interior spreads and selected the photography for this unique address book. I chose to use a laminate wood for the covers to reflect the innovative use of plywood that Eames was so well known for.

 

SMALL DOT JOURNAL

These journals featured two of Ray Eames' famous textile designs. The journal is reversable with the yellow textile on one front cover and the black textile design on the other. The reversible interior pages are designed so the user could decide which color was the front and which was the back. This reversible quality touched on the undeniable and intentional practicality of their own designs.

 

CHAIRS JOURNAL

The Eames' are well-known for their furniture designs and especially their innovative, practical and design-forward chairs. This journal highlights just a few.
